I woke up this morning excited to go on my vacation with friends, but sad to leave Emma and Janice in Cleveland. I know the time will go quickly, so I packed and loaded up the car for Columbus. Janice made some hot coffee for me and they both gave me an assortment of gifts for the trip. I received some crackers, candy, and other snacks. I also received a golf magazine to read and a hand held Yahtzee game! I am going to have as much fun on the long drive to South Carolina as I am once I get there.

I was very proud of Emma that she didn't cry too much when I left. I know she will miss me, but the next 5 or 6 days will go quickly and we will all be together again soon.
